Build and sell software
AI app builders and coding assistants have made it possible for non-developers to ship working software. That's real and useful. But building something is only the first step. Selling it means finding people with a problem, convincing them to pay, handling payments and support, and keeping the product secure and working as the tools around it change.
Most small software products earn little or nothing, with or without AI. The ones that do usually solve a narrow, painful problem for a group the builder understands well. This section covers picking a problem, realistic running costs, security basics you can't skip, and what ongoing maintenance actually involves.
The Build Roadmap can turn an idea into a phased plan, and the Agent Builder is useful if your product is itself an AI assistant.
Tickd is an independent resource. Nothing here is financial advice or a promise of income. Results vary widely and many people earn nothing. Do your own research.
