Build Your Own AI Agent

Answer five questions about the assistant you want. We'll write the spec, then hand you setup-ready exports for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok — each formatted the way that platform actually expects, with the real click-path to get it running.

What should this agent do?

One narrow job beats one vague one. Describe it like you're briefing a new hire.

Starting points

Template library — Pro

Pro starts you from a ready-made brief — support triage, research assistant, coding helper, writing partner, onboarding tutor or ops process runner — instead of a blank box. See what Pro adds.

A free, no-code AI agent builder

Tickd's Agent Builder helps you build a custom AI agent without writing code. You answer five short questions: what the agent should do, how it should sound, what it needs to know, what it should be able to do, and one example of a perfect reply. From those answers it writes a platform-neutral spec covering the agent's role, instructions and a knowledge outline.

Each platform sets up agents differently, so you also get four tailored exports: a ChatGPT Custom GPT (name, instructions and conversation starters), a Claude Project (a system prompt and a suggested knowledge-file structure), a Gemini Gem (persona and instructions) and a standalone system prompt for Grok. Every export comes with setup steps for that platform's actual settings screens and a copy button.

It's built for people who know what they want an assistant to do but don't want to start from a blank instruction box, such as teachers, founders, support leads and freelancers. The builder is free with an account and lets you save two agents. Pro adds unlimited saved agents, version history and runnable Node and Python starter code for each platform's API.
