Content and channels
Running a newsletter, a video channel or a niche website is one of the slower ways to earn with AI, and one of the easiest to get wrong. Search engines and video platforms have policies on mass-produced, low-value content, and audiences quickly learn to scroll past generic AI output.
AI is genuinely useful here as an assistant: researching, outlining, editing, repurposing a long piece into shorter ones, and handling the tedious parts of production. It becomes a liability when it replaces the thing that makes people subscribe, which is a real point of view, real expertise or real effort.
This section covers what the main platforms say about AI content, realistic timelines (usually months or years, not weeks), disclosure, and how to build something people actually want to read or watch.
Tickd is an independent resource. Nothing here is financial advice or a promise of income. Results vary widely and many people earn nothing. Do your own research.
