How to Get a Refund from Higgsfield (Step-by-Step)

Updated 10/5/2026

If you have been charged incorrectly for a Higgsfield subscription, billed twice, or did not mean to renew your account, you are likely looking for a way to get your money back. Because Higgsfield operates across multiple platforms—including iOS, Android, and their direct web portal—the process of securing a refund depends entirely on how you originally signed up.

This independent guide outlines the steps required to identify your billing source, verify your eligibility, and submit a refund request.

Step 1: Identify your billing merchant

Higgsfield does not process all payments directly. If you subscribed using a mobile device, your payment was handled by Apple or Google. If you signed up through a web browser, the charge was processed directly by Higgsfield via Stripe.

Look at your bank statement or credit card transaction record: 1. Apple/iTunes: Will display as apple.com/bill or similar. 2. Google Play: Will display as Google *Higgsfield or Google Play. 3. Direct/Stripe: Will display as Higgsfield or Stripe * Higgsfield.

You must request your refund through the specific merchant that processed the payment. Higgsfield support cannot refund transactions completed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Cancel the subscription first to prevent further charges

Before submitting a refund request, cancel your active subscription to stop additional recurring charges.

  • For iOS (Apple): Open your iPhone Settings > Tap your Apple ID name at the top > Tap Subscriptions > Select Higgsfield > Tap Cancel Subscription.
  • For Android (Google): Open the Google Play Store > Tap your profile icon (top right) > Tap Payments & subscriptions > Tap Subscriptions > Select Higgsfield > Tap Cancel subscription.
  • For Web: Log into your Higgsfield account on your browser. Navigate to your Account Settings or Billing Profile, select your current active plan, and click Cancel Subscription.

Step 3: Request a refund from Apple (iOS users)

Apple maintains complete control over transactions made on iOS. To request a refund:

  1. Go to [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com) using any browser.
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase the Higgsfield subscription.
  3. Under "What can we help you with?", select Request a refund from the dropdown menu.
  4. Under "Tell us more", choose the reason (e.g., "I didn't mean to renew this" or "My purchase didn't work as expected").
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the Higgsfield subscription from your purchase history, then click Submit.

Apple typically reviews these requests within 48 hours.

Step 4: Request a refund from Google Play (Android users)

If you subscribed via Google Play, you can request a refund directly through their automated system if the charge occurred within the last 48 hours.

  1. Go to [play.google.com](https://play.google.com) on a computer or browser.
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Payments & subscriptions.
  3. Go to the Budget & order history tab.
  4. Find your Higgsfield transaction.
  5. Click Report a problem next to the order.
  6. Select the option that describes your situation, complete the form, and state that you would like a refund.
  7. Click Submit.

If more than 48 hours have passed, Google Play terms state you must contact Higgsfield directly (see Step 5).

Step 5: Contact Higgsfield support for Web/Stripe purchases

If you purchased your subscription directly through the Higgsfield website, or if Google Play directed you to contact the developer directly, you must email Higgsfield's support team.

  1. Draft an email to the official Higgsfield support address (typically found in your welcome email or the contact section of their app/website).
  2. Use a clear subject line: Refund Request - [Your Registered Email Address].
  3. Include the following details in your email body:
  4. Your full name and registered Higgsfield account email.
  5. The date of the transaction and the exact amount charged.
  6. A screenshot of your receipt or the transaction on your bank statement (showing only the Higgsfield charge and date, mask other private details).
  7. The reason you are requesting a refund (e.g., duplicate billing, technical error rendering the tool unusable, or accidental upgrade).
  8. Wait for a response. Web refunds processed via Stripe usually take 5 to 10 business days to reflect on your statement once approved.

When to escalate

If you do not receive a response from Higgsfield support within 5 business days, send a follow-up email on the same thread. Do not open multiple duplicate support tickets, as this can reset your place in their queue. If the charge was clearly fraudulent or a double-charge that neither the platform nor Higgsfield will resolve, you may contact your bank or credit card issuer to dispute the duplicate transaction. Note that initiating a chargeback may result in the permanent suspension of your Higgsfield account.
